<p>My son's voice teacher is a phenomenal dramatic soprano, just unbelievably wonderful (every time I hear her perform, I cry - soooooo moving, the burst of Chi that pours out over the audience when a difficult art is perfectly executed). She went to a little midwestern college that I have never heard of, then later trained with top teachers. Two years ago she was talking about college choices with my son and told him "knowing yourself and what you want out of life is more important than anything else, and your college doesn't have much, or anything, to do with that." She has sung all over the world, and loves music so much that she has mastered four languages and is constantly perfecting her marvelous instrument. This is a joyous, successful individual, right with herself and the world, who had a very unassuming start.( And Michigan is hardly that!!!)</p>
