twisted love triangle?

Okay this isn't your typical boy meets girl story and this love triangle actually makes a perfect triangle.

So anyways I'm a senior in high school and I think this junior is pretty cute (we're both guys). So anyways he's best friends with a girl who I'm pretty sure likes me(she must think I'm straight). So anyways I'm sure the guy I like is gay but I just don't think he realizes he is so it seems like to me that he's confused and thinks he likes his best friend who likes me.

Unusual, yes? Or does anyone else have any weirder stories? opinions?

i'm watching this thread...

very, very random. LOL, nice one. You know if a person is gay or not more than that person themselves.

username, can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not, but it is really not that unlikely that buffet "knows if a person is gay or not more than that peron themselves". It's pretty frequent that someone who hasn't come out yet is predicted as being gay by people around him.

username, usually a gay person can see the "gayness" of another individual before that individual actually realizes it.

not speaking from personal experiences, but from other people and such..

and to the OP are you looking for advice or just asking for other wierd stories? hahah

let me know how this story ends up...i'm intrigued :)

i know.

he confronts the guy. The guy beats him up for thinking he (the guy) is gay. The girl finds out, is disappointed for a bit, and runs off with the guy.

10 years later, when the friends are married, the friend is going to run back to other guy.

"The other guy" will have recently been proposed to by his new boyfriend, and "the (male) friend" would have divorced "the (female) friend" only to find himself vying to steal "the other guy" from "the other guy's new boyfriend".

Haha now for an update (I'm sure you've all been waiting). Today all three of us got the same shift for working our booth for chemistry at this festival. We ended up getting the same times because when I signed up for my first shift, the girl who likes me signed up for those same shifts (even my second shift), which incidentally led to the guy I like signing up for the same ones(you may think I'm making this up but I'm really not lol). So anyways while all three of us were selling this mexican chip things with our teacher , I kept trying to get the boy I like (let's call him H) to you know, notice me and stuff, so whenever I made a joke or comment the girl who likes me (we'll call her K) would start laughing really loud (H and K are both kind of quiet) and H stayed kind of quiet the whole time.

@mathmajor, advice stories whatever you want to share
and I'm glad everyone seems to be interested in my unlucky personal life, I was afraid most people would have gotten creeped out by it given the circumstances.

I'll make sure to update if anything comes up and if anyones interested.

dude, have you ever heard "the rejection" by dangerous muse? If not, you should watch the music video -- it's like this exact situation.

^alright I'll watch it... hopefully it has a good ending

Okay I watched that video, the song was pretty good. I didn't like how everyone in the video ended up alone, but I guess that's why the song's called "rejection". Anyways that video had like a crazy love pentagon or something and I had to watch it several times before I really understood what all happened but thanks for the suggestion Taggart. Anyways does anyone have any advice on what I should do next? Only 1 more day until I have to see H and K again so I'm trying to plan my next move lol.

Where a t-shirt that says, in giant letters, "I'M GAY!"

We eliminate the confusion and see what happens.

wait, i don't get it. how can someone be predicted to be gay before he even realizes it?

@sarahlawrence I have thought about hinting to (or telling) K that I'm not straight but you see if she loses interest in me then that means I won't be able to get close to H, because her liking me is incidentally how I get to talk to who I like(H). So basically I'm leading her on for my own personal interests so in school I kind of flirt with her just to keep her interested but I keep it to a level where H won't get jealous or get the idea that I like her.

@esopteradactyl it's called gaydar and gay people have pretty powerful ones(so they can hunt out mates). On a more serious note, other people often find out a person is gay before the person does because people are usually in denial of it until a certain point (or all there lives) because of things like prejudices and family values.

ok well my gay friend thought i was gay and i am actually not but he is denial of me not being gay, so i guess his gaydar is wrong

So a similarish thing happened between me and my friends, except it was more like my gay friend and I (straight female) were both interested in the same guy....and he turned out to be gay. So they're together now. Super awkward for me lol

^lol the same thing is going on at my school with a separate set of people, except I'm not sure if the guy they like is gay or straight since I don't know the person that well, I'll admit he is good looking though but people like that are like Tila Tequila where they are chased after both boys and girls lol

why don't you just tell henry and karen that you are gay and see what happens.
