I use the full site of College Confidential on my phone through Safari. Everything always worked perfectly, until this morning. I try to load a page and as soon as it pops up it sends me to Twitter; telling me I need to sign up! It is just my phone or is CC becoming connecte with Twitter?
Same thing on my ipad this morning, but on my laptop now seems fine.

And by the way, I realize you’re having trouble with your mobile app, but just fwiw, most folks on ipads don’t WANT a mobile app, so please always let us choose

Why dont you downlaod the CC app in iphone/iPad it is so much more convenient

I have the mobile app on my iPod and would rather not be forced to use it.

I’ve previously used the CC app, but I stopped due to the app crashing and not being able to access pages that are available on the full site. I feel using CC in Safari is a lot easier than the app, but then again I haven’t used the app for over 6 months so it could have changed.
I definitely agree with Run. I won’t be able to pop in and out of CC as long as this continues It’s too much of a hassle to stop the page from loading right before Twitter loads.
Same thing is happening to me when I try to access the discussion or forum area of CC on my iPad using Safari or Chrome. I have no trouble on my desktop computer. Don’t know if this is a coincidence, but my iPad upgraded to IOS 6.1 last night.

I found a browser on iTunes (Mercury) which allows you to emulate Safari desktop. It eliminates the problem, but I’d like to know why this just started?

Sounds like the CC discussion forum mobile web site may have been hacked. Hope they are able to get it fixed soon.
I’m no longer being redirected to Twitter on my iPad. Seems that the problem has been resolved.
If I wanted the CC mobile app, i would download it. Stop suggesting it CC and even after saying NO by hitting cancel, you just wont stop… NO means NO.
