Earlier this year, I applied to Brown University as a Questbridge Finalist, however, I wasn’t matched in the end.
Now, the time for Regular Decision has come, but I don’t know what I should do!
I forwarded my Questbridge Application to Brown for the Regular Decision round, which means that Brown will be looking at that. However, I really want to send in my CommonApp supplement because it’s an additional essay and two short answers, which I feel will definitely strengthen my application. But, do you guys think that if I did that, the admissions office(r) wouldn’t appreciate it?
Thoughts please!

First, you should call and ask. No one here knows for sure–just our opinions.

With that in mind, I probably wouldn’t send in an additional application, especially if Questbridge says to simply send in the Questbridge application. However, I don’t see the harm in sending an updated letter/letter of interest to add on to your Questbridge application. I think that’s very important considering you didn’t match with Questbridge the first time around. Best of luck!

Thanks for the advice, AmbitiousMind07. But the problem is that they’re closed for the holidays. I tried contacting the office of admissions through e-mail, but I was responded with an auto e-mail saying that the office closed. I’ve become much more interested in Brown and I really hope I have a chance at getting in, even if it’s as minute as 1%. But I don’t know if sending in my CommonApp w/ the supplement or just the supplement would annoy the office…
I guess I’ll just do it? No clue :

Is there anyone at Questbridge that you can contact? Or a school counselor? Otherwise, I would just send in the Common App supplement anyway. It shouldn’t be an issue.

I asked the same question previously to the office. Their reply was that the QB app would suffice, but if we are to add the Common App, we would need both the supplement AND the main CA.

Thank you so much, topramennbaklava! :)
