Two Calculators

The Collegeboard AP Website says that I can bring two calculators for a mathematics test. Does this mean that I can use them both at the same time?

I am planning on taking Calculus AB and Statistics.

I have a TI-89, and a TI-81.. one of the newer calculators paired with one of the older ones. I'm still trying to get used to me 89, but it's still really REALLY complicated.

Each calculator has things that are easier to find than the other. For example, my 81 has trigonometric buttons, an x^2 button, etc. But its Statistics program is really primitive and hard to use. My 89 has everything that my 81 has, but they are hidden under the MATH folders. Sometimes I have to search through my catalog to find something that my 81 has a button to.

My ideal situation is to use my 89 for its powerful programs and have my 81 on the side for basic calculations.

lol funny. idk. i know that they won’t let you use 2 calculators at once on the sat.

same as you. ti-89 and 83+. cant use both on math 2 sat lol.

You can use both at the same time. You’ll probably need to learn some of the features on the TI-89 as the TI-81 is not a recommended calculator and doesn’t have all the necessary features.
