Extra Information:
My high school does not rank as it is highly competitive. Probably my test scores (and the fact that my school does not rank) got me in. I'm definitely not in the top 5%...top 20% probably.

My 1st quarter grades were much better:

AP English Literature - A
AP Government - A
AP Spanish - B
Honors Astronomy - A
Calculus - A

I'll keep this up for 1st semester, so with this "diamond surrounded by rough," here's what my unweighted / weighted should be:

10th-12th - 3.40 / 4.33

Already Been Accepted to:

Penn State - University Park (waiting for my rejection to Schreyers honors!)
Honors College at the University of Pittsburgh

Please Chance me for:

American University
Brandeis University
George Washington University
Muhlenberg College
University of Rochester
Tufts University

In everywhere. Tufts is the only questionable one.

I agree Tufts is questionable, but IN everywhere? I agree with American, GW, and Muhlenberg, but are you sure about Brandeis and Rochester?

Note: I'm applying RD to all these schools.

u seem pretty average... i havent heard of alot of these schools, or no their selectivity, but tufts would be a reach/match

Average? 2180 SAT? All honors and APs (except for calculus)? Decent music hook? Don't call me average. Maybe I'd be "average" for some of these schools, but I don't like that statement, I'm sorry.

In everywhere? OP is pretty good except in gpa for those schools, more bs than a beekeeper. J/k, i couldn't resist. Tufts and Brandeis are reaches b/c of gpa/rank.

No, you're right. I could have worked harder 9th-11th grade, and I get what I deserve. At least I have a nice safety under my belt (Pitt Honors)...

sorry, i meant average for a CCer

That's a fair statement. Anyone else?

Brandeis-- High match-Slight reach
Rochester-- Slight reach
Tufts-- Reach

Rochester and Tufts have been really moving the last few years in terms of selectivity, and their applicant pool has only increased in quality these last few years.

Agree with GChris07.

Applying ED I or II to Tufts would probably increase your chances, but it would still be a big reach, so I don't know if it's worth it for you to use your ED card on Tufts. Perhaps applying ED to Rochester or Brandeis would prove more fruitful to you.

Rochester is funny that way...RD is 48%, ED is 47%...not really worth it...

Anyone else?

The final bump...
