I am currently a Chemical Engineering Major with about a 3.8 GPA. I have had an internship and a CO-OP so far.

The Internship (Summer Internship) was with a very reputable Chemical Company. Unfortunately, I did not get an offer from them.

I did this internship after finishing my second year.

Then, I finished half of my third year. For the second half, I received a offer for a 6 Month CO-OP from a reputable Consumer Products company. Unfortunately, I did not receive an offer after the CO-OP.

The CO-OP caused my graduation to extend by one year. Thus, instead of graduating in May 2012, I will be graduating in May 2013.

I still have room for one Summer Internship before I graduate. However, I am a bit scared, since I did not receive an offer from two good companies.

Has this ruined my career? Will it become hard for me to get an offer for a Summer Internship, or even a Full-Time Job after graduation?

Anyone have similar experiences?
