Two interviews

How many will take advantage of on-campus interviews as well as alum. interviews? Do you believe it is necessary to do both? Please comment as to advantages and disadvantages. I am assuming here that alum would be available in your area.

The on-campus interview is 'not for score'. It is simply informational with senior student to allow you to ask questions.

I did the campus interview, and my interviewer said that that it WAS evaluative. It wasn't a question-and-answer type session, so I'm guessing it did count.

I'm doing both, but I'm sure that if you live in Seattle and only do the Alumni interview, it won't kill you. My advice: if you don't live too far from Yale, just take advantage of it.

Both the alum and the on campus interviews are evaluative, but at the same time, they're optional.

I did both, i think it helped
