two options...

hey guys, this is kind of just a random question, but i've actually been thinking about it quite a lot lately.

what should i do:

1) I'm absolutely in love with yale. Seriously, when I visited, I was like a little kid at a candy store. Plus, I want to go into law, so yea, best grad school for that in the world right there. I'm defenitly applying ED but it's a 50/50 thing about getting in. If this happens, I'm actually thinking about taking a gap year and doing some international volunteer work or get an internship and re-apply the following year

2) If I don't get into yale, I was thinking of transferring out of my next choices (baylor or notre dame) after one year.

Which should i do? I've been told that I would significantly increase my acceptance chances if I take a year off and get a law internship and I wouldn't want to go through the hassle of transfer applications and such. But is this a wise decision?

What should I do? Thanks for any help!

first, apply and see. Get into Baylor or Notredam first and them see...

Yea, dont start worrying about that too soon. Send in your apps and see if you get in. Getting into a top 20 university is difficult.

I'd say you should apply and see what happens. If not accepted, take a gap year with a law internship or something of the sort. I'd say you have a good shot either way. If you're 50/50 you say for Yale. It's tough though. You never know with those Ivy's. It's just luck sometimes. Best of luck to you =]. Conclusion: 1) Apply and see 2) Take a gap year if not accepted? My opinion =].
