I would appreciate it if people answered both questions.

If my high school gpa isn't amazing and my family income is high I'm assuming I am going to receive very little to none financial aid from NYU. I was wondering if I got a 3.8-4.0 gpa at NYU my freshman year, would my financial aid go up for my sophomore year? Is there anyway to work out an agreement with NYU that if I meet a certain requirement, my aid will rise. How much of sophomore, junior, and senior year NYU financial aid based on grades at NYU and how much is based solely on family income.

For EDII, is there anyway to receive a federal aid estimate BEFORE applying ED. Also, NYU states anyone can withdraw from being accepted in ED if they don't have sufficient aid. If I don't like my aid package because FAFSA says my family can afford more than we think we can, can I withdraw without it hurting my chances at other colleges? (NYU telling other colleges)
