<p>If a mid has his wisdom teeth out prior to I-Day, does he have to send or bring documentation from the oral surgeon showing what was done?</p>
<p>I tried to go online to the Mid store to buy something and it asked for an alpha code to gain entry. My son told me that he will get this later. Does anyone know when?
I want to buy something onliine for a high school graduation present.

<p>The Alpha Code is issued on I-Day, and stays with the mid for the rest of his/her life.</p>
<p>No special documentation is needed concerning Wisdom Teeth. If they're out, they're out. When he gets his first dental exam, they'll document that in the record.</p>
<p>On that note, I recall seeing dated "passes" to the mid store in Sierra's stack of paperwork. Any clue why a PASS is needed?</p>

<p>Navymom2B - they told us to just send a "current" panorex, within the last year and a half. I listed that She was having her wisdom teeth out on her acceptance form. Her RD said that was all that is required.</p>
<p>...well, civilians aren't aloud in the store, so it goes to show that they would want to identify the friends and family.</p>
<p>Each Plebe is assigned an Alpha Code on I-Day. It will be almost as critical as their SSN during their stay at USNA.</p>

<p>After I-Day you will receive the Alpha Code and will be able to shop online. In the meantime, you can buy items through the gift shop at the Visitor's Center online, <a href="http://www.navyonline.com%5B/url%5D">www.navyonline.com</a>. They are very nice there and really very helpful. On PPW you will receive a plastic card like a credit card which will be your pass for the next four years into the Mid Store. You will also be able to use the card to receive 10% off for anything in the Visitor's Center gift shop. Hope this helps.</p>
<p>wvdad - After the plebes walk into Alumni Hall on I-day you won't see them again until about 5 pm so there's no opportunity for them to tell you what their alpha code is during the day. The passes that you receive in the permit to report package are for use in the Midstore on I-day. You will definitely want to make some purchases at the midstore during that I-day visit so don't forget to bring that pass! After I-day you will need your midstore card or mid's alpha code to make purchases, we picked up our midstore card during PPW in August.</p>

<p>They are really pretty loose with the passes on I-Day. I don't think that they even really checked my pass at the checkout and you did not need to show the pass to enter the store. The place is packed with parents, relatives and friends and in reality who else would be there that day except those associated with a candidate that is entering USNA. Five of us went shopping and we had two passes and they didn't even check those. But....as with anything else at USNA, be prepared for change so make sure someone in your group has a pass with them if needed. When I was there a couple of weeks ago, they were definitely starting to stock up for the big day. They will have great t-shirts and tote bags with all the names of everyone entering the class of 2010 printed on them. Great memento to have. If memory serves me correctly, those items were available on PPW as well. Happy shopping!</p>
<p>You will find out the alpha code when you get their summer address, as it is part of the address. It will start with the year of graduation.
