<li><p>If you are working with the JHU application, most applicants will list multiple schools for Question #11. If you can't put the information there, then just submit an addendum to your application with the information. If you are working with the Common Application, then list the information in the Additional information section.</p></li>
<li><p>For the JHU essays there are no official word limits or word count suggestions. The first creative essay ("money in your pocket") is traditionally between 500 - 1000 words when written. Remember you can present this essay in any format, using any medium, you want. The second academic essay ("favorite class") is typically shorter and runs between 250-500 words. But as with the first essay, it is your choice how long / how short you want your essays to be.</p></li>

<p>Please know though your essays are IMPORTANT. Every year a number of applicants write one paragraph essays, and clearly the admissions counselors are not fans of short essays lacking any real content. Remember be original, be creative; the word count won't matter.</p>
