<p>1) It depends on what you are writing about and how you approach it. What are you thinking about?</p>
<p>2) I can’t remember if there is a character limit or something on the Common App online, but I don’t believe there is technically one. With that being said, however, you probably don’t want to go too far above 500 or so words.</p>
