Alright, I have yet to receive a letter from USC. Even more odd, my status DID change a month ago, but the DATE did not. Called the my admissions counselor and she said I had everything in. What does this mean? Is it bad/good that the status changed but not the date?

SECOND! I was accepted to UCLA this week (and I am an out of state applicant :D). With this in mind, would that mean I have a good chance for USC snce I've heard it's harder to get into UCLA when you're out of state? Yeah, hate to bring up UCLA in this awesome Trojan family but I'm curious haha

What does your status say? And what kinds of links are under it?

Well, I was rejected from UCLA (OOS) and got into USC. They are both approximately the same caliber of school, so I’d say you have a good shot. ;D

It’s the “under review status” and I have the mid-year report (even though they confirmed they’d received it haha). On a different page I have the financial aid Oasis link saying I’m not missing anything.

Congrats at getting into UCLA YaldaTron. I believe you have a really good chance at getting into USC. UCs really focus on GPA and test scores more than USC.

I think UC’s decide based on GPA and rank more and I think USC goes more by test scores judging from looking at both of their SAT ranges. Also, the UC’s admit a lot of ELC kids and since they are a public school, they need to provide a balance for people all over California.

Also, being OOS does not affect USC, so in that respect if you got into UCLA as an out of state then you have a great shot!

Remember that the UCs only give weighted credit for 4 Honors Classes. So unless you got an A in every honors class you took…form a UC acceptance standard - that could have worked to your detriment and lowered your uwGPA. USC gives a fulll look at all classes taken, and Honors classes are fully respected :)
