Two Questions

First of all, will I need to bring a dress shirt and dress pants to school for any kind of formal or religious event at Boston College? Secondly, could anybody with a Droid help me set up my BC email account on my phone? Feel free to pm me if you want.

Thanks

You’ll want formal clothes for Convocation. Other than that they will not be necessary, but always good to have just in case.

You may want to bring it for the covocation. Here is the link, you can decide for your self. Sorry can’t help with the second question.

[Conversations in the First Year - Boston College](http://www.bc.edu/offices/fye/conversations.html)

You will need your formal clothes not just for convocation, but for some classes as well. It’s always best to have that attire ready for presentations in class and such.

you only need better clothes for preso’s if you are in the b-school. Arts & Sciences profs don’t care.

You should just always have a dress shirt and dress pants. In case you go out to a nice dinner, a play, anything.

Dear CarlosEthos : Plan on having several dress shirts (depending on your laundry/dry cleaning needs), ties, a couple of pairs of dress slacks, and a sport jacket or suit for more formal occasions. If you are part of an emsemble (music or similar), you will need to have a tuxedo available for performances. As information, for the girls, several skirts and dresses will be used during the semester for formal events, parties, and similar outings.

Might I also add, especially for the girls…flip flops are NOT considered dress shoes/dress sandals.
