1) If an application asks what other schools I am applying to, do I have to list them all?

2) Will a school's website explicitly state whether it is SCEA or just EA? If it does not mention single-choice anywhere can I assume it is not SCEA and just EA?

Thanks...

Actually you should be strategic in answering this question. Its really none of their business since they're supposed to be evaluating your application to THEIR school, right?

So list several schools they see as competitors and also a clear safety. Be careful of Tufts syndrome in which the school will reject you because they think you're really just interested in other schools (eg list 4 Ivys & Tufts). WUSTL also is notorious for this. It can be helpful to list schools slightly more prestigious so that they figure they can swing you by giving you a better aid package (they all deny they do this, BTW).

good advice, Mike.

Thanks for the prompt responses. I just thought of one more question:

In the EC space on one of my apps there are five columns that you can check: 1,2,3,4, or PG. I assume PG means Post-Graduation. But is this asking if I hope to participate in it after graduation (i.e. college), or is this for people who took a year off after HS and did an activity in that year off?

Thanks again.

it's all talking about in the past, so it would be for ppl who prolly took a year off
