1) For the pre-major classes for business econ (for LA and SB) I have heard many different answers to this question and I was wondering if someone could give me a straight answer. I know you are allowed one retake if you didn't pass a class. If a C- counts as a 1.7 at my school can I retake the course for a better grade?

2) Since my school doesnt have articulation agreements with the UC's I have had some trouble finding out what classes will transfer. For the area in which you need four courses in:
Arts and Humanities
Social and Behavioral Sciences
Physical Sciences

Is arts and humanities pretty much any art class (I.E Ceramics, Photography, Drawing)?

C- is passing, ask your professor to give you a D so that you can retake it.

The art classes that are articulated at my school are more like music literature or film studies type of classes. They're the study of art rather than the creation.

You can use assist.org and look at community college courses that do transfer. Then you go to the community college website and look at the college catalog. Then you look at your own college catalog and see if the course descriptions are the same. If they are similar then they should transfer. Courses that transfer also depend on content, so read the course descriptions carefully to make sure that close to everything or most is covered in the course
