UT-A's Cockrell Eng school offered one scholarship, with the caveat that any other university-linked scholarship will prompt the Engineering school to revise this scholarship; even withdraw it.

Got another scholarship from UT-A's office of the president.

now i don't know if they will co-ordinate with each other and withdraw the lower offer.

Has any one in the past recd 2 scholarships simultaneously from univ-sources?

It’s better to draw their attention now than later to finalize your finaid.

If both scholarships are the same amount of money and you can keep only one of them, keep the scholarship from the office of the president. Most likely it will have lower GPA requirements and you’ll be able to keep it, if for any reason you decide to change your major (things happen :))

You do not have to choose. I have received two scholarships from 2 UT departments and they have both confirmed them and neither was affected by the other (the same message was included with mine, that they may be “revised”)

deregon, it is possible that since you have two different programs, they have let you keep one scholarship for each program. my feeling is that since i have only engineering hnors alone, they will ask me to give up the lesser one
