Two sentence ID questions

<p>Answer is LIES... is it supposed to my lays? When I was doing it the first time around I was tempted to go with LIES because it was a ID question towards the end meaning the corrections wouldn't be as obvious and lies would be a pretty hard error to spot.</p>

<p>2.Although (there seems) to be many ways (to solve) the puzzle, only one method (will bring about) the (desired result).</p>

<li>it should be ‘lie’. because ‘lie’ is plural and it modifies 'madagascar and the seychelles.</li>
<li>‘there seems’ modifies a singular subject. it should be plural because it should modify ‘ways’. therefore it is ‘although there seem to be many ways’</li>
