Two tests. One Day.

So, if you have a test in the morning session and the afternoon session about how much time do you think I will have in between those two?

(Dear Lord, please let me survive this AP Lit and Latin: Vergil Combo)

A guy I know took the AP Chem and AP Psych tests today. He had an hour or so in between them. (8-11ish, 12:30-4ish)

I took both AP Chem and AP Psych today (or rather yesterday). I had 20 minutes between the two tests despite having my AP Chem test delayed for a total of 10 minutes or so due to power the going out during the testing. I would expect you would have anywhere from an hour (optimistically) down to 10, or even 5 minutes.

What kept me going was having food and water and juice. As soon as it was time for any break at all, I would eat to keep my energy up.

I’m really burned out right now (unfortunately I need to work on an English project), but I think you will be fine! The significance of doing well on the AP tests to you should keep you going most of the time. Good luck.

Okay. Thanks. Hope you all do and did well on your tests.

At my school, the students taking both AP Chem and AP Psych yesterday had about 10-15 minutes to grab some food before they had to report back for the second exam.

Yeah, I took AP Environmental and AP Psych yesterday, and had about a grand total of 5 minutes between the two. I hope your school is a bit better about that, and good luck!

Yes, I took Chem and Psych yesterday and I was literally given 5 minutes between the two, it was awful. I guess it was because the same room was used for both and all of the instructions took us forever, so the second exam was delayed and there was no time for a bigger break. Two APs in one day is definitely not nice, but you will do just fine. Good luck!

I took AP Environmental Science and Psychology yesterday. I had about an hour in between. Our proctor gave us time for lunch, wasn’t that bad. My hand felt like it was gonna fall off towards the end of Psych, though…

I have APUSH and Euro. O_o The schedule says I’ll get an hour, but I doubt that.

If I have to give advice, double AP tests are one of the few times when I’ll say that there really is no reason for an all-nighter. Running for four hours on no sleep is one thing, eight is another. Also, make sure you get protein (bars, peanut butter, whatever), and, if you react well to it, caffeine during your break.

I took the Chem/Psych combo last year. I actually don’t remember the time in between for some reason, but I don’t recall having any issues. I’m sure it was substantial.

ap psych is not 12:30-4ish its 12:30 to like 2:30.

I took APES/Psych and had… drumroll no break time between. Yeah. It was just great.

Mine was the worst.

We had a Nazi proctor who literally talked about safety and carefully filling out the forms for an hour.

Chem ended at 12:30. Psych started at 12. It was also at two different buildings so I got there by car.

When I got there the proctor and everyone else were waiting for me, only filling in the information sheet. Almost broke a sweat, phew

I had a friend taking AP Spanish and AP Art History today. The Spanish test ended at 1:30, so I think he has to take late testing.

Do you guys think there will be enough time for a thirty minute car ride between the two governments?
