So I was originally planning on taking three subject tests (Math II, Bio E, Lit) this Saturday but I only feel prepared to take two of them (Math II, Lit). None of the colleges I'm applying to require more than two subj tests, but I messed up my freshman year and feel like I need every edge possible to boost my chances of admissions.

So my question is, how much worse would it be for me to only take the two subject tests I'm prepared for than it would be for me to take three subject tests?

Um, I see from another thread that you have an atypical HS experience...if so, more Subject Tests are probably better. Can you take two this month and one in Nov?

While I wouldn't mind doing that, I'm signed up to take the SAT I again in November. If I could I'd just take the SAT I this Sat and the SAT IIs in Nov, but I'm pretty sure I can't just switch like that.

Definitely call SAT, you may have to do a standby for this Saturday... Regarding the 3 subject tests, what major are you pursuing? Have you ever taken ACT?

Going for Political Science/Government. Never taken the ACT. I guess I'll have to call College Board today and hope that it all works itself out.

On another thought...how bad would it be if I just accepted a lower score this Sat and then took the tests again in December? Is December too late? I have yet to find a really definitive answer to that.
