I'll be taking his ECON 102 class. I've been ratemyprofessors.com, and learned about him. Um...where can I get his past exams?

I really want to take an econ. class, but apparently, he's teaching all the econ. classes. I really don't want a bad GPA on my first semester. So, any advice to survive his class? Anyone willing to offer your tests? I'll pay you. :D

just memorize the book. go to discussion. my TA emailed out the exams from the previous semester. you just need to understand and be able to regurgitate everything from the chapters.

Its only hard if you dont study as much as you're supposed to. people complain about it way too much.

lol I would STRONGLY advise you to avoid taking the class in the morning. Half the people didnt show up for class and those that were there a third were sleeping.

seriously, his classes are not nearly as hard as some stupid people made them sound like. ECON 102 is very straightfoward. after midterm, i didn't even go to two third of the lectures and missed 3 out of 4 pop quizzes. yet i got an A in his class. all you have to do is to read the book and do the limited amount of hw. all the info you need for exams is in the book, you can also look at the power point slides on the internet that go with the book.

yeah I had the 8AM monday/wednesday class. its just a general rule to not take those classes haha. I never missed an econ class except for twice, and never slept through one despite being tired as hell. I found it a LOT easier to fall asleep in biology. Gottheil just tells stories and makes the concepts really simple to understand, or if you're a moron, you will not get it and claim gottheil is the moron.
