Hi,
I actually followed your posts it seems like ages ago on the dual program. Well my son got in Whitman/marketing and Newhouse/PR. Financial aid aside because it is the most expensive school he is considering how is your (I think it was daughter) doing? Remind me. Did she take classes over the summer? My husband thinks it might be too much for him to try to do this is in 4 years (husband graduated undergrad Syracuse so he is definitely not anti Syracuse). He got accepted at a several schools but the top for him is Syracuse. My husband thinks he would be better of at PSU (Smeal with Sapphire leadership program). UCONN gave him 1/2 tuition but I think that is out of course. Waitlisted NOVA and BC. Did I read your daughter got internship? My husband and son went to the Whitman NYC at Lubin house on Sunday could not attend NH on Sat. They said they require an internship. My husband asked how easy that is to do. Basically asking are we getting in over our heads. He has taken one AP and got a 3 so that doesn't help. He is taking 3 more AP exams but???? I am trying to compare curriculum requirements etc. Would it be hard to take 18 credits/semester? He can work hard when he wants too. Any help (of course it should be sons choice but money is a little bit of a factor which is our choice). We also have a Freshman at Cornell and thought our financial aid with two in would be a lot better than it is so it was a rude awakening. Thanks for all your help in the past and now if you don't mind.
Mom of Whale18 who has read this question. I can't post without his permission lol...
PS He who wanted a big school actually felt PSU too big. That and housing are is only cons about PSU. Housing ok at Syracuse?? I did read about them overcrowding too. And do you feel the area is ok. Believe it or not I have taken both sons to every college over the past two years except PSU and Syracuse which is making it hard for me. I am going to try to see both and have him look again as well soon. It is hard because I also have a Frosh daughter and I work.
Thanks again

Now that I saw this, I PM’d you.
