Hey I just found out that there is an error in the years I specified in the part of the commonapp where you list work experience. I already sent the app to a few schools. Should I reprint the page and send it to the schools with a brief note explaining there was a type-o? is this a big deal? id assume not, im trying to be reasonable, but please just humor me. thanks

please im sure someone has been through the same thing...bump

I doubt they would even find out. I mean, there are probably about 10,000+ applications. They won't go all out hunting for lies on people's applications.

is it worth it to send a brief note with the corrected page from the common app though? it just looks weird because it makes it look like all my jobs occured during the same year, and for one year only

bump please humor me so i can put this to rest, ill either send the letters out or i wont, i just want to get soem feedback

You can send them if it makes you feel better. What have you got to lose?

i guess it could draw more attention to it?

bump, cc has officially turned me crazy...sorry

Although work experience isn't extremely important, it does portray maturity and responsibility to the board of admissions. Since your error makes it seem as though you've worked for only one year, I'd send in the corrections, just to be safe.

well its obvious from seeing it that i made an error, its not like theyd assume it was all the same year. the jobs look like they took place the same months of the same year, and while they did take place the same months, they didnt take place the same year...thanks
