I'm a QB finalist, and I'm not sure if Yale wants materials mailed in a specific type of envelope (like Stanford).

I've searched Yale's website, but I can't find any instructions. Will any regular manila envelope work?

Also, if I'm enclosing two sealed transcripts inside a bigger manila envelope, should I write the mailing address on each of the sealed transcripts?

I’m sure a regular manilla envelope will be fine; and yes, you must put the mailing address on both the transcript envelopes in the bigger one.

Can I use a recycled envelope?

I would suggest you don’t. Just to keep everything looking as neat as possible.

As long as the envelope is delivered to the correct address, it won’t matter what your envelope is.

“Can you believe Applicant X sent us his recommendations in envelopes made with recycled paper?”

“Oh my God! Put him in the reject pile IMMEDIATELY!!!”
