I am currently an English major, but am thinking about changing. I realize that I love the outdoors and animals, and have loved them my whole life, and have a profound respect for nature as a whole, and would like to help it.

Now, my first question is, assuming I will go to grad school, what would be a better major for me to take as an undergrad, my school has Biology and also Conservation Biology. What are the differences?

Also, as for graduate studies, which concentration of biologocal science would be best for me, according to my desire to work first-hand with nature and animals and then environment? Of course also taking into account job availability and pay...

Any responses would be greatly appreciated.
