Types of Duke Merit Scholarships

My son is having his interview with the Robertson scholarship this weekend. I looked at the Duke website for various merit based scholarships and there are quite a few. Can someone with experience from the past (or present) give a summary as to the difference of types, and also a rank of them? in terms of financial terms and non-financial (e.g. prestige)? Thanks in advance!

First of all, congrats! The Robertson Scholar provides your son a full-ride to Duke, along with unique counseling. All of this is better explained on their website. If you don’t mind my asking, what are your son’s stats? (ex: SAT, GPA, extracurriculars, awards, etc.)?

He has good grades - GPA over 5, SAT 2390, 3 800 SAT IIs, captains/presidents of various clubs, national, regional/state awards in several areas (humanities and science related). Not sure if it’s one area vs another, but think it’s an overall evaluation of the students.
