Types of people at Syracuse

Are their mainly stuck up kids or is it split out, and are most students down to earth kind of kids?

also, is the school 'cliquey' or does everyone get along/hang out

I’d like to know about this too cuz those are the comments I’ve seen in the students review (don’t know how reliable it is but yeah…)

I would like to know about this too. I am just a regular middle class guy. I have heard that this school has a stuck up nature as well.

Please understand that like every other school, SU has an eclectic student body and snootiness is part of the mix. There are a list of adjectives I could use to describe my school’s student body but I believe that trying to define a school by a “given” nature is absurd because you have the power to immerse yourself with different people and see who you’d want to spend extra time with so it doesn’t matter what type of nature SU has. There is something & someone for EVERYBODY–be it, friends, partners, etc.

Focusing on whether SU has stuck-up students or not isn’t going to either gain you admission into the school and/or help you succeed if you get there.

I’ve recently heard that Syracuse has a large jewish community, and if you’re not jewish you won’t fit in, is this the case?

A very astute reply (House of London)…make the most of your time there, get involved. Syracuse is culturally diverse and thankfully there is something for everyone, especially for those that will take the time to seek out friendships and opportunity.
