Types of scholarships and amounts.

Hi. I want to go to either gonzaga or Washington out of state but I think I saw Washington as 32000/year and gonzaga At 35000. My parents tell me they can't afford it so I'm trying to think of scholarships. These are a few I have thought or know of. I have CP and know there's scholarships there. I also know of academic scholarships
I have autism if that helps
How much do you think they'd go for and also what other types of scholarships is there? Thx 4 help n sorry its so long.

The problem is that the private scholarships that you’d be applying for would likely only be for small amounts and probably only for freshman year. You have to have funding for all four years. Winning a couple thousand in scholarships for freshman year will leave you short for years 2, 3, and 4.

You’re from Calif. What affordable Calif schools did you apply to? how much will your parents pay?

Are you saying that you have cerebral palsy and autism? IF so, do you think it’s a good idea to be too far from home when you go to college?

I don’t know if I want to apply to Any California schools but probably not

If your parents can’t pay, you won’t be going to either of these two for the fall semester. There aren’t any big scholarships out there that you still have time to apply for.

Sit down with your parents and find out how much they are ready, willing, and able to pay each year for your education. When you know that, start looking for options that will fit your budget. If none of the affordable places are still accepting applicants for the fall, you will need to take a gap year and apply for fall of 2014

Well unless your parents will pay for whatever schools you want, if you don’t apply to some Calif schools (including affordable ones) you may find yourself without ANY affordable schools. Do you really want to take that risk?
