<p>Your GPA isn't as terrible as you think it is. I agree that your ECs are probably the weakest part of your application. Well, actually, I should probably rephrase that (I hate it when people say that ECs are weak). Your ECs are "average," and probably won't help to distinguish you very much from other applicants. But, they're solid, if that makes any sense.
Your living situation (France --> Florida --> Japan) is very interesting, though!</p>
