hey guys, I just want to know what the typical route to becoming a CPA would be? here's my plan on what I want to do. currently I'm a first semester junior at USF in Florida majoring in Accounting. I plan on getting an internship soon and once I'm done with my undergrad I want to start working right away. After working for a year or so I want to go back to USF and get my MAcc and once I've completed that I want to sit for the CPA Exam. in Florida you don't need 150 credit hours to sit for the exam, you just need 150 to become certified. it definitely makes more sense to get the 150 credit hours first though, and then sit for the exam. does this sound good? or should I work for a lesser period of time or more? if someone can clear these things up that would be great. thanks!

No reason to work in between, unless you need to for financial reasons or have a great job lined up which might not be there a year later.
