Can someone desribe a typical day at NYU stern as well as the social life. Thanks.

wake up - eat - study - sleep
some people like to focus on the 3rd step tho..

Any fun after that? lol.

And how many hours usually do you study a day, and how much time would you have for socializing?

nyu stern is a fun school. everybody i know there (i know like 3) all say they party a lot, but study a lot too.

im actually exaggerating...
but all stern classes are curved. so u have to work HARD

Here's my typical day:

Thursday:
Acctg - 9:30 w/ ex-dean Choi, very funny guy
Conversations of the West (phil.) - 11:00 zzzzzzz...worthless class
Scholars - 12:30 maybe a speaker, otherwise just go over events, what we need to do to go to Dublin in the winter, and most importantly - free lunch
Micrecon 200 - 2:00 run over to the Main building, cram in the cow herding elevators, try not to pass out due to food coma

After that I might spend a few hours doing hw, studying, chill in the park, club work (if I name my club anyone in Stern will know who I am, lol), and some Madden. It's a Thursday night and I don't have class Friday so there might be a Scholars event (like Rent, or the opera, or whatever), if not, go out w/ friends, get drunk, some people like to hit up clubs, whatever. Get back late, sleep in Friday and then do work. Every day is different, but that's a typical day.

Is that for undergrad, and are there always no classes on Friday for Stern?

hahahaha, Choi is still there? He retired like 72 times so far.
