what is a typical day like for a penn engineer? How many classes a day, my friend told me that at NU he has two classes a day with an hour per class which seemed odd. How many hours of classes do students usually have per week, and how many hours of homework per night? I am a probabaly going into System Engineering.

i think you should check this link out
http://www.ese.upenn.edu/ugrad/ssesamp2007.html
It gives a sample curriculum. I think (not sure) that one course unit corresponds to 4hrs/week class instruction.

can u help me find that link for Chem Engineering?

what about a course description of a computer science engineer...?

I'm CS. I mean, it heavily varies. I'm a bit early on my track, but it's giving me flexibility to take the classes I want to take.

If you're just CS, though, you can take 5 a semester and be fine, though. 6 isn't unheard of but certainly isn't necessary.

The CS department at Penn can be really rewarding, but you have to put in the effort to interface with professors and take advantage of a very receptive department.
