To you current students...

I know that at first most students take similar courses, and diversify into every area afterward. What classes do most freshman take first and second semester in CALS, typically?

Depends on your intended major

Lets say...biology, or AEM?

Intro to Macro / Micro?

And hotel too!

For Bio majors and premeds: (Sample Schedule)

1.Intro Bio
2.Intro Chem
3.Writing Seminar
4.Calculas
5.Some elective if you want.
6.Swimming if you don't pass the swim test.

i suggest not taking on too many classes or else, if you're study habits were really bad, you'll have a very bad first semester. On the other hand, I think you should start out w/5 classes + PE and then drop the class you do the worst in.

I'm wondering.. Should I take Micro / Macro concurrently or should I take each class separately?

micro and macro can easily be taken at the same time. i took micro over the summer and had no problem with it.

what if u get a 5 in ap bio...do u have to take intro bio? what would u take instead?

This site has sample schedules for bio majors.

You need to take writing seminar.
