the housing dont open until the weekend before classes.

and they tell u to find temporary housing before you move in.</p>
<p>mm guess i will have to push back my arrival time as far as possible so i dont spend too much money on the temp. housing.. since i'm gonna sign up for the august 22 orientation, i guess i will arrive to san diego around 21st? that way there is only a few days i have to live outside before moving into the dorms.</p>

i'm thinking more about choosing university tower as my first pick now. the reason is because cuic and the other dorms close so often for the holidays,
thanksgiving, new year, spring etc and i'll have no place to go.
although i'll probably make friends and have trips to go, but i want to make sure at least i got a place to stay in case i dont make any plans, since i wont be able to go home like everyone else</p>

My orientation dates are from July 17th to August 3d, because I am a prebusiness major! :( They have different days for each major. So, I have no idea how to get there the latest.</p>

i think even with a 3.2 u have a good chance of getting in, it also depends a lot on your SAT.</p>

<p>well as you probably read i had a 3.35 with 1780 and got in. so shoot for those numbers. but my friend who had a 3.2 didnt get in. so id shoot for the 3.4 to play it safe and study up for SAT's to guarantee yourself a spot. good luck with getting in, i say you got a really good chance.</p>

go to the eligibility website thingy and look at their formula
i think it was gpa times smth plus your SAT
so your SAT is definitely very important, it can make up for your gpa</p>
