<p>If you want an exciting nightlife you have to make some friends with partiers at the dorms/apartments or go elsewhere for action. I myself was never into that, so I was content with just hanging out with some friends on weekends and going out to dinner/shopping/beach etc. but yeah, you really have to make an effort if you want to do more than sit around an empty campus. There are a few events sometimes on weekends such as Shocktoberfest ([Shocktoberfest</a> - Home](<a href=“http://www.asuci.uci.edu/shocktoberfest/index.php]Shocktoberfest”>Web Server's Default Page)) but for the campus as a whole there aren’t that many events actually ON campus during weekends.</p>
