Typing Your Applications

So today I trekked all over the town to find a nice, working typewriter. None of my friends have one, and the local library was closed. But pretty much every store didn't have one because they had been replaced by the technologically-advanced computer. But my question is, how are we suppose to type up our scholarship applications? Specifically, the ones that are given to you in paper format (i.e., no PDF files here, just good old-fashioned paper), especially in an odd color! I have one that is pink, and I want to type them up to show that I'm spending more time on this particular scholarship, but is there easier way to do this, and how do you solve this problem in your particular scholarship application endeavors? :)

If the scholarship application is electronic (ie--a website), then you can simply convert the website to a Microsoft Word Document. To do this, go to "file" and select edit with Microsoft Word. However, if the application is paper, a hard copy, then you will have to type it the old-fashioned way. You will have to use your typewriter and figure out how to do it. I can't really explain how to do this, because it is a process that is quite difficult to explain. Maybe someone else here on cc can do a better job of explaining this. You also have the option of computer-generating your applications. That's what I usually do.

I think the problem is she can't find a typewriter. I thought most stores at least carried the electric type writers, but maybe not. You could always try to scan them in and then use an OCR program to make them editable. That would take forever and still probably not give you perfect results. Keeping the pink color would be hard as well.
