Typo - help!

I found a typo on my common app (already submitted to ED school). I had written a range of hours (10-15) for the amount of time I did the activity during the summer, but then meant to change it to 10+ (because it was generally closer to 10). It now says 15+ instead because I forgot to change the 5 to a 0. Do you think this is a big issue, should I call and have them make a note? I don't want to seem like I'm lying... Five hours/week doesn't seem like a huge deal, but it could be, is it important enough to call?

Help please!

Any opinions?

No one?:( I'm really nervous about this...

It's not a big issue, promise! You're fine.

Don't worry about it, colleges don't check that stuff out, and it doesn't make or break an admission decision.

Thanks...maybe I won't call them after all.

Actually, I could see sending them a note (don't call) over this. Being honest is good, and in this case your honesty will bring you to the attention of the AdCom in an unusual and positive way.

ADad (no idea why our posts switched order), I did send them an email and they haven't replied (I sent it almost a week ago), though I guess that could just be due to high email volume.

In your email you explained the error and asked them to make a correction?

Yep, I explained what happened, told them what the accurate number of hours was, and asked that they make the correction.

That's good!

They are probably too busy to acknowledge your email. I wouldn't pursue it any further; imo you can assume that it has or will get to your file.

Okay, I'll go with that...they've always been good about answering emails but they're probably swamped right now.

Thanks for the advice.:)
