Hey everyone! Last night, I submitted my common app and writing supplement to my dream school. I am applying for their PA program so there is a lot of competition for very few seats. I just realized I wrote "perspective student" instead of "prospective student" and I am freaking out, shocked, and embarrassed! Is there anything I can do to fix it? Will I be rejected because of it?

You /can/ message them about any changes you would like to make, but I wouldn’t in your situation. It’s just a minor typo, and asking them to correct it might just draw more attention to it.

I guess I might be better off leaving it alone ~X(

I just want to update this in case anyone else finds them-self in the same situation. I contacted the school just because I felt guilty and silly not doing so. My admissions counselor said it was not a problem and it was noted on the file that I called with the correction. She said it would not have made a difference in my admission decision but was grateful I called. She also said that most schools expect and do not reject an applicant because of a typo or misspelling.
