Typo on Application!!!

Okay, I just realized that I made a mistake on my application, i mispelled my NAME, no i'm joking lol. I made this stupid mistake on the word competition, writing competion. You guys think they'll mind?

Honestly, no.

Yeah, they will immediately stop reading, put a fat, red REJECTED on your file and throw it in the paper bin after they have informed all colleges in the US that you cannot even spell your own name correctly and thus don't have an IQ of more than 71.

Really I am not kidding, you're better off jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge but don't hope for God's mercy !

;)

PS: They probably won't even notice; the human eye converts even wrong words to correct ones. An example ? Now you'll (probably) be able to read the following sentence:

Hmuan biaohevur is seacpil and hlgihy seopstiicahtd.

david alex you're right i can read that

Yeah supposedly if the first letter and the last letter are correct, the letters in the middle don't matter.

I read that on a myspace bulletin =)

Really interesting article kraor143

however, if you misspelled your name, they might have some trouble matching up all of the different documents in your file...

Well it's a good thing that she was just joking about misspelling her name!

A girl at our school bubbled her name in wrong on her SAT and didn't receive her scores on time or anything because she switched the first name and last name blanks.

Although it was probably okay considering that she got a 1190 (out of 2400) her first time taking it.

She also thought that Commodore Matthew Perry was the same guy as the actor on friends and that the correct term was "seizure salad." So, whatever.

Yeah but back to the point of your post I don't think they'll care. I actually had to read the sentence 3 times because I didn't notice anything wrong with competion at first...you understand.

hahaha..."seizure salad"...that made my day!
it would be quite a dangerous food! lol :p

Yeah i get it, it's a HE though

Haha sorry...I get mistaken for a guy all the time.
HE understands.
Excuse me.

well it'd be interesting if you misspelled your name....and they accepted the person you just created =p
