Typo on my common app essay?

<p>So I really want to go to Northeastern.</p>

<p>But on my common app essay...I submitted a few weeks ago...today I read it over again and noticed a typo.</p>

<p>I wrote, "My friends did not get casted in the play" instead of "My friends did not get cast in the play".</p>

<p>I know it might not seem like a big deal, but Northeastern is really competitive and they were a huge reach for me.</p>

<p>Will they notice/penalize me for this typo? Is it really bad or is it okay?</p>

<p>Please help as I really want to get in and this typo didn't show up on spellcheck!</p>

<p>I’m not sure…I already sent my Common app (with they typo to them.) But i can still edit the common app essay on the common app website.</p>

<p>should i edit it on the common app website and re-send it? or would that draw too much attention…?</p>

<p>Something similar happened to me… I was just looking mine over and I noticed I put one of my activities down…TWICE. Let’s say I absolutely hate my life right now.</p>
