I found a small typo in my application to Northwestern, Notre Dame, and Southern Methodist. I had two teachers and both my parents proof read and nobody caught it!
Here it is
"In the center of my closet there is high stack of shelves."
Obviously I meant to say "There is A high stack of shelves."
Help! Will the omission of one ever so important letter ruin my chances of admission?

It will have either a very small or nonexistent impact on your chances.

They will not reject you because of a single typo. If you have multiple typos throughout your application, it may show that you don’t care, but I don’t think that’s the case. Don’t worry about it; you’re fine.

don’t worry about it! That is truely minimal, if they even see it. they most definitely won’t reject you because of a single typo. :)
