What happens if you have 3 typos in your app- not in your essays, but elsewhere and are very small, barely noticeable???

Not only will you get rejected, but trained admissions office personell will hunt you down, beat you up, and steal your lunch money. :)

No, seriously, it doesn't matter if they're little typos. The Common App cuts stuff off all the time. It's happened to a bunch of people on this forum (including me) and the general consensus is that admissions officers probably don't care. They know what you mean.

haha lol! thanks... im trying not to stress over it, but i emailed my admissions officer all the same. I haven't heard a reply yet tho.

Let me know what you find out. I also had a letter cut off in my optional essay, but decided not to do anything about it at the moment. I began thinking that, what if they the ADCOm peopel thnk the kid is so retentive, that this is all he or she thinks about. My dad said let it go, so I am doing that. If they don't let me in over one letter, then they probably weren't going to let me in anyways.

While it can't look good if they think you didn't proofread, they did ask for online apps and the inevitable typos that follow. I wouldn't worry about it.
I mean, we still respect people on this site even though they say "your" instead of "you're" at least 17,000 times, lol.

you DO sign off on the common app online saying that you've "print previewed"

there shouldn't be any errors if you are within the word limit
