Typos in my Common App Personal Essay

So I submitted my app to all the schools I am interested in and then found two or three typos, which I would consider to be very noticeable and serious, but I am wondering two things:

 1. Will college admissions officers really care about these typos, and…

 2. If the answer to #1 is yes, would it be a good idea to contact the admissions offices of each school and provide them with the non-typo version of my essay?

Since I’m sure you will need to see what the typos are to answer these questions, here they are: “When I found out that my I’d torn my ACL,” and “I wouldn’t be able to (the word walk should be here) until at least half a week after surgery.”

Thanks in advance for any advice, this has been making me pretty nervous since I made a Common App help ticket and they basically said there’s nothing I can do but send the updated essay to each college individually, but I don’t know if my typos warrant doing so, i.e. if admissions officers would really even take them into account when considering my application.

Chill. Read the “clam fart” thread here. He was accepted.

No big deal - they are barely noticeable, and, if noticed, it’s clear that they are because you omitted a word or made some editing changes (e.g., When I found out that my ACL was torn —> When I found out that I’d torn my ACL).

Calling attention to it would make a bigger deal out of it.

That said, if there were major grammatical or usage errors (e.g., they’re vs. their vs. there; I should’ve went vs. I should’ve gone), I would be a little more concerned, but, in your case, no biggie.
