Typos on recommendation letter and signatures....

hey guys

for our reference letters, is it ok if the teacher prints it out on letter head, SIGNS IT, and then, make copies?

i mean, i won't have a fresh signature on each copy....is that still acceptable?

(i have the same question for the common app recommendation form)

thanks!

and also, my recommendation letter has 2 typos on it, should i tell my teacher or just let it go?

1) It's OK, and is done all the time.
2) Let it go.

it's definitely fine for them to do that and make copies. that's what 99% of teachers do anyways.

the original sentence

"my experience with XXX regarding her abilities to be a leader ARE from XXXXXX

the ARE should be IS, and on the date line, it is `December 6, instead of December 6

They're not judging you on the basis of your teacher's writing. Let it go.

alright then....
but will they judge my school?
that guy is the curriculum leader of ENGLISH in our school@@

What part of "Let it go" is giving you trouble? LET IT GO.

lol...

wow...easy there@@

OK, fine. Don't let it go. Go bother your teacher (so he or she will regret ever having helped you?), then ask him to write an errata sheet so that he will specifically draw attention to errors that people would otherwise probably not even notice.

Like that answer better?

You won't be penalized for errors your teachers made.

Though if they catch those errors it may not exactly help your teacher's credibility, I doubt they even notice. Even if they do, it's not a big deal, they are judging YOU, not the teacher. EXTREMELY minor.

alrighty 10ch

btw chedva i never said i didnt like your first answer....
