i checked over everything a million times on my app. i sat down with my counselor we copy pasted my essay from word 2 the supplement and hit submit, print previewing it first. i was messing around the commonapp website just now and hit the penn submited suplement. 2 my horror i find random typos that were not there 2 begin with. What should i do, should i call, email them or what?

Lol, weren't there to begin with? Like they popped up on their own? Anyway, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Unless it's something really significant, like the name of the school or a main theme in your essay, it should be fine. I'm sure that typos aren't that uncommon and they wouldn't reject you just because of 2 misspelled words. And what would a phone call do now? Do you think they'll search for your essays and correct them? I think not.

They probably already have read your essay.

i should clarify wat i meant by not being there 2 begin with. In my why penn essay there is a random & sign in the first sentence. That is easily noticeable and i never had it there in any drafts because i dont use that sign. Then like 2 words are missing the last letter. Then in the optional essay there is a word missing. I know its not a super huge problem, but i just dont want to seem like i was careless and didnt care enough to proofread, which i did more times than i can remember. whatever theres a good chance they could have made their decision about me already

hey glo im exactly the same way. i read and reread my essays a billion times before i sent them out, but still i found two typos. In one essay i left out the word "the" in kind of a key place. I think reading them so many times I just naturally read the word in as being there sooo never missed that it actually wasn't. Sigh. I hope they're too tired/hungover to notice lol.
