Hey all,
So, I am in the process of trying to transfer colleges. So far, I’ve applied to the schools listed in the title. I’ve been accepted to the University at Buffalo and Binghamton University so far. I think I have a fairly decent shot at getting into the other ones as well.
So, I am a chemistry major. Which of these schools do you think would be best for me? In terms of tuition, academics, appearance of the campus and how good the school is overall. I am a NY state resident, so that’s also something to think about.
Thanks!!
If costs are a factor then should only be considering Buffalo and Binghamton since they are in state.
Pitt sometimes gives good merit – I’d wait for the financial aid package before ruling it out.
@bodangles I’ve never heard of Pitt giving $$ to transfer students. Also, a Pitt financial counselor just told a friend of mine last week that ALL scholarship offers have gone out. So there’s that.
Ahh, thanks for the response, that’s too bad. Fortunately cost of attendance at Pitt isn’t THAT much
Costs are somewhat a factor. Do you know which school (UB or Bing) is better for the sciences? I know bing is better overall but I heard it’s not very good for science.
