While attending an undergraduate program for business administration at the Haas School of Business; would you be taking mathematic courses as well? I know that before getting admitted to Haas, you have to complete a few prerequisites. One of those prerequisites is calculus. Is calculus a requirement to prepare you for more mathematic courses?; or are you done with math when you enter the undergraduate program? Another thing I was wondering is if Haas students can take classes at U.C. Berkeley. For example, would I be able to major in business administration at Haas, and still take extra biology courses at Berkeley?

Once accepted to Haas, you’re not required to take any more “Math” courses, but some of your core classes require a little math such as Econ, Finance, Spreadsheet Modeling, and Accounting. It’s all pretty basic math though.

You would only have to take more math if you wanted to pursue courses that required higher level pre-reqs, such as upper division Econ.

To answer your other question: Yes, Haas students can take as many classes outside of Haas as they want, and it’s a degree requirement to take at least 12 units of non-business upper division courses.
