<p>Where can I find the U-M ID number? I tried looking on the UMich online application for it but no luck! Where can I find it and how necessary is it that I have it on my teacher's and guidance counselor's recommendation? Thanks!</p>
<p>You don't need it on your recommendations, and after you submit your application they will e-mail you a number about a week after you submit it so that you can check your status online.</p>
