got into macro in michigan and materials science in u minnesota. any suggestions on the decisions? thx.

dont know anything about the programs...but im going to minnesota next year so go there!! and my friend thomas is going too, and basically were really freakin cool and minneapolis is the most awesome place ever. but ummmmmm idk, i guess you need advice from someone whos not a lunatic :) cant help you there

What do you mean by "macro"? Anyway, in general, Michigan is considered a better university than Minnesota, but Minnesota is a very good university in its own right. Are there financial considerations we should be made aware of? If weather is a concern, although both cities are cold, Minnesota has longer winters and Minneapolis is roughly 10 degrees colder than Ann Arbor.

yes i have full financial aid to both schools. macro is macromolecular science and engineering. i am going for graduate study. really don't know which one to choose. obviously, u M has a better reputation, but mse in minnesota is not weak in terms of polymer research. any suggestion will be appreciated. thx.
